Adville/USA is a fast-paced, creative advertising agency. Major clients include Wienerschnitzel, Tastee Freez, Hamburger Stand, Dairy Queen, and The Original Tommy’s Burger. Project range includes website creation and management, online promotions, email campaigns, marketing videos and televised media, point of purchase materials, direct mail campaigns, corporate invitations, and promotional merchandise. As the Creative Director, I manage the creative staff and freelancers to ensure all projects are complete, on time, and are high quality representations of the agency. I represent Adville/USA at client corporate meetings making agency presentations. My role also includes hands-on design, photo shoots, production work, and coordination of overseas promotional item manufacturing.
Contract Visual Web Designer, Kaiser Permanente, Pasadena, CA
Mar – Oct 2009
Web designer for the Prescription Refill site (built on IBM WebSphere Portal) along with creating design patterns for the style guide library, working closely with interaction designers, editors, and developers. Member of the CrUX (Creative User Experience) team working in an Agile development environment with daily scrum meetings. On this team, I observed user-testing and focus groups in order to design a better end-user experience and improve accessibility.

Web design for musical artists such as Lady Gaga, Eminem, No Doubt, LMFAO, Black-Eyed Peas, All-American Rejects, and U2. I interned in the creative advertising department which was in charge of all promotional material for movies including posters, billboards, plus television and radio spots. I got first-hand experience in the development and design process, attending exclusive executive meetings and working closely with the Executive Presidents of Advertising. My mentor at that time was Loren Schwartz who worked closely with Judd Apatow.

Personal
Creative pursuits are very important to me, and I am always looking to learn new skills. I especially enjoy crafts such as print-making and woodworking. I am very passionate about the art of typography, plus my fine art background has provided me with a strong sense of color theory and composition. Using my creative skills to help non-profits with their design and web efforts is one of my favorite ways to give back. When a family member was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer, we established a non-profit 501(c)3 charity, Pink Paws for the Cause, to support the women affected by breast cancer through the community of animal lovers. My role as Chairman of the Board includes hosting board meetings, web/graphic design, and fundraising.
